God is holy.

Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For Thou only art holy. Revelation 15:4

Who is able to stand before this holy Lord God? 1 Samuel 6:20

Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity. Habakkuk 1:13 (iniquity is another word for sin)

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy. Psalm 99:9

Serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear; for our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:28-29

You are a sinner.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none that understandeth; there is none that seeketh after God. There is none that doeth good, no, not one. There is no fear of God before their eyes. Romans 3:10-12,18

There is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good and sinneth not. Ecclesiastes 7:20

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and His word is not in us. 1 John 1:8,10

We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness is as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

God hates sin and will judge all sin.

The wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23

The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9

We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:10

You deserve God's punishment. You can never be good enough to get into heaven.

Enter not into judgment with thy servant; for in Thy sight shall no man living be justified. Psalm 143:2

God provided a way of salvation. His Son, Jesus Christ, died to take away sins.

God commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (commendeth means demonstrates or proves)

John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, "Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world!" John 1:29

He hath made Him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. 1 Peter 3:18

Who His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24 (the tree refers to the cross)

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1:15

He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25

You cannot earn your salvation. God gives it as a gift. Salvation is by grace.

Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:24

In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7

By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

God, Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. 2 Timothy 1:8-9

The kindness and love of God, our Saviour, toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us ... that, being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7

To be saved, you must repent (or turn away) from your sins.

The times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent, because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness. Acts 17:30-31 (winked at means overlooked

Jesus said, "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:3,5

Jesus began to preach, and to say, "Repent; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17

Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation. 2 Corinthians 7:10

Jesus said, "If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." Matthew 16:24

Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him. Isaiah 55:6,7

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Proverbs 28:13

To be saved, you must have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Being justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ. Galatians 2:16

Be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. Philippians 3:9

If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:9,13

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36 (wrath means anger)

Jesus said, "All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:37 (in no wise means never)

If you really repent and have faith, then you will live your life the way God wants you to. If you continually disobey or ignore God, then you probably are not saved.

Faith, if it hath not works, is dead. James 2:17

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14

By this we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 2:3-4

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 1 John 3:7-10

Be ye holy in all manner of conversation, because it is written, "Be ye holy; for I am holy." 1 Peter 1:15-16 (conversation means behavior or conduct)

Jesus said, "Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of My Father, Who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21

Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:13-14
