In the Midst of Evening Twilight
by Greg Wright, January 24, 2002

In the midst of evening twilight,
Radiantly God paints the sky.
Showing us that while we're sleeping,
He'll be watching from on high.

Just before the night has fallen,
Brilliant hues of painted love.
Light the clouds that float above us,
Signature of God above.

Though sometimes the night holds trouble,
For the sons of sovereign grace.
Unseen hands enfold, surround us,
Ever with us in this place.

Let the hues of twilight glorious,
Feed our hope of heaven bright.
God will lead us through the night-time,
Into never ending light.
