Disturb Us Not You Clouds of Gray
by Greg Wright, July 18, 2001

View From Our Front Yard.

Disturb us not you clouds of gray
Which darken starry skies.
The stars above still give their light
Though hidden from our eyes.

Disturb us not you clouds of gray
With blasts of thunder loud.
For when you burst life giving rain
Will bleed from every cloud.

Disturb us not you clouds of gray
With lightning bold and bright.
The joy of Christ invades our hearts
To help us through the night.

Disturb us not you clouds of gray
With wind storms loud and shrill.
The one who calms the wind and waves
Still bids us peace be still.
